Ok. I've got some programmers, INPA , PA Soft, Arbitus made in China and some more. ISN i assume is some sort of id number.

If Original ECU available , read flash and write to new ECU . Job done.

Read full flash file of 29F400 via Bootmode and flash new ecu with the content, done.

Yes 29f400.
Like was mention above , you need to read full flash in boot mode or with programer. OBD flash has only tuning maps.
After that you must sync DME -EWS with scan tool. But you must use good tool, most of them not working on those older cars, I know for sure GT1, Autologic and Icom works.
Luch x431, Maxidas , AVDi will not sync it.

Ok, update. After replace original flash and eeprom , and made synchro (no matter PA Soft or Inpa) car starts. But after few minutes ignition off , it doesn't. I have to do syncro again.
Car history is interesting: guy bought non-running car from BMW Dealership, they tried repair it, so now car is equipped with EWS 4,it is programmed and locked.
I was about to check if ISN in EWS is same as in Engine ECU, but i'm not sure if genuine UPA or clone xprog can read it without bricked ?

I've read that it may depend on roling ISN used in newer EWS systems , and wrong coding my unit for older car?

any DTC in ecu or EWS after sync is done ?
After sync erase DTC, thake EWS in hand and remove key, wait until you fill/hear the relay.
Ignition on relay must switch on, check DTC and with PAsoft or inpa check key live data in EWS

I've got used ews3, could someone with ews editor send me print screen with keys codes from my EWS4 dump, please?

SOLVED
I made EWS3 "factory", then copy underlined values, then make IKE->EWS config copy with PAsoft

You know there is MS43 immo off solution available for free on internet, could have just used that and be done with it...

Also if swap flash and Eeprom together no need for Alignment, Same goes for full read.

Is there? I haven't found, besides I don't trust immo off solutions, there is always a catch: Fan don,t run or you have to disable eeprom write or A/c do not run or else.
And the car is in very good shape, it would be a shame to do that. I am still curious why ews4 didn't work

@rivalryan i suppose eventually DME was ok, it was not my diagnose. They bought non-run car and they were told that it is simple DME failure, while it was new EWS coding problem. Anyway, everyone, thanks for your help.

If you swap flash and Eeprom together no need to align, or full read.
