no need read and open ecu, user Alientech download in database orginal full bdm, edit software and write. This is perfect solution

Perfect solution... maybe...
What if the car was modified before and without knowledge of the current owner?
And after your "DPF off" he tell you, that his car is slower, than before?
And after your next and next, and next mod he still claim this...
So, because i've had this situation before, now i allways spend 1 hour more to have a real backup of the ECU, than to have such problems..
Regards!

heh sorry folks that i didn't follow my own thread..... at the end i just found bdm dump of it and reflashed it via obd with kess, i was tryying to avoid bdm simply cose the owner wasn't interested in having his ecu opened, anyway it worked. Gtz.

yeah, 10% edc16c9 dead when you open ecu, car not have stering injector so please dont write maybe or not. Its not problem edit software to egr mod etc, its not problem diagnosis car to modify other tuner before my job. I do many ecu c9/c39 and i dont open ecu, better edit software 2 times than buy next ecu.

besides its about the money as well.... on competetive market you say certain sum of money to cut off dpf... client wont pay u more or less for have u used jtag or obd flashing.... best method it one that save you work time and is safe...
