can someone please upload a guide/ tut on how to use news groups

i am a noob to news groups never herd of it till this site. was wondering if someone would be able to upload or point me right direction as to what i need to get started. and how to se up a connection to a news server to download from (isp settings and such.... my isp is v**ginm***a).

Just curious as to why you would post asking for help on newsgroups in an xbox 360 section. Or maybe not a site that hosts files to do with newsgroups?

reason for the post is because every 1 is recomending to use newsgroups to download back ups? up until now never herd nor used 1. sorry if the thread was post in a incorrect forum just though as i was gonna use it 360 purposes that i maybe relvant and that all the other tuts and guides you guys have posted have been so relavent to the questions asked . ne ways thanks very much cunny
