Hello guys, please, i would like to ask, how long time Ktag read and write Passat B7 ecu EDC17C46 ? I have clone 7.020 Ktag, reading about five minutes and writting about 30seconds ... is it right ?

Is it really safe ? there is big difference between time of reading and writting ...

it checks only the modified part in the file and only write that part, that's why it's fast if you took another different file it would take longer. that's what i have noticed with ktag.

I am going to do this ecu for the first time with Ktag and was not sure about this time of writting.

when you write modified file the time will change , ktag starts to chksum the file and delete old files

Yes, i know. Have tuned soo many ecus but never seen so fast writting threw OBD or BDM edc16.
