Hi Guys, I have just flashed a newish xbox with a Lite On DG-16DS drive in it and it wont play backups, it gets a few minutes into the game and then when it gets to the loading screen it freezes , i have tried a few backups, i have flashed with ixtreme 1.5 and 1.6 but no difference , i have even tried the drive out of another working flashed xbox spoofed of course and that didnt work, am i missing something here, any help appreciated......
P.S. Other xboxes that i have flashed are playing the backups brilliantly but i think they are hitachi drives, so could this be a drive thing?
Cheers

OK guys, heres a weird one for you, i found out what is wrong and its a long story. I r store all my backup isos on a 1 terrabyte ext hard drive, now last week i plugged it into my neices laptop to try and transfer her data, anyway the acer laptop turned out to be a linux machine and when i plugged my drive back into my pc windows couldnt see it, i then got some file retreival software and found that the drive had now got an overlapping linux partition on it. the software saw my files and let me copy them to a new 1 terrabyte drive that i had to buy, anyway if i run any of the iso's through abgx now i get an error at the end of the game crc check saying that the game crc dosent match and there are 4 possabilities why ie bad rip, so its obvious to me that the files have changed somehow, does anybody know what could of happened to them when they were copied ?
cheers

Well basically the images are ~~~~ed to be blunt. You'll have to either do them or get them again.

Yes i know they are cream crakered cunny, i have about 30 of them though a lot of d/load time, i was really hoping a Linux Guru might just be browsing and tell me how i can recover the files because its obviously done the same thing to all files as they are the same, maybe Linux Linpus adds something to each file so that the os can see them, i don't know, i am going to keep them for a bit anyway..........
cheers

For the amount of time it would take to recover an 8GB file, would be better downloading them all again. Least that way u will know that the images will be fine
