Hi DK Members,
as I posted in a previous thread I have problems to make a 986 Boxster run with water damaged M534 Alarm unit.
I got now another used unit with 2 key fobs.
So, when I attach M534 to the car these 2 key fobs should work when I press the remote buttons, right?
But nothing happens :-(
PST2 Tester gives me error codes "ECU fault" "Transponder not match with unit (reprogram key)" and so on.
But the unit and the key fobs are 100% from the same (accident) car with destroyed passenger side.
When I got unit, the 15A fuse was blown, but I put new one inside

I managed now to read the 93LC66A inside the unit and attach dump here.
Is the dump good or corrupt?
Is it possible to read the codes of the remote controls (2 pieces) out of this dump?
Can somebody read me the Immobilizer and the Pin Code out of this dump?

Thanks in advance and wish you a nice sunday!!!

I read this PIN from your dump : 1B8B3F

I try Immobilizer code 1B 8B 3F 16 8D 35 CB 0B 46
and pin code 1B 8B 3F
But PST2 says it is wrong.
And I compared my dump with some other dumps posted on this forum. They look very similar to mine and I cannot find any big difference.
I think there is some other error to that unit (as I said also fuse was blown when I got it).

@carcity
Thanks for quick response
Can you repair that dumP

desolder the 93LC66 from your old water damaged M534 and read it out, then put it in your new M534 and try it with your old keys.
The key learning code 1B 8B 3F from your new M534 is definitively correct.

Unfortunately i deleted the eeprom of the water damaged M534 with in-circuit reading :-(
I would need now (100%) good dump for 996.618.262.00 and I would try to write that on my unit.
Just to check if the unit itself it's working properly.
