Eurovox pvr ex500 v Max V

Hi, I have the Eurovox Max V & I,m thinking of purchasing the Eurovox pvr ex 500. It comes with free to air firmware, so if I update with the latest firmware will it give me all the same channels as as I get with my Eurovox Max V on Virgin. Thanks
