View Full Version : E60 525dA EDC16C31 forgot maps ?

Hi,

I was doing E60 525D 177 (M57D25) with DPF. After flashing driver feels difference, but in his mind - not as big as thought. He also called me, thet after 30 km car runs better than just after flashing. I've started to wondering if all maps are done. For this basic stage1 I've done these addresses :

IQ related :

C03E8 DW
C0562 DW
CCED4 torque lim
CD2CC Torque vs EGT
CD386 VMAX
CD4FE Torque limiter
CD5AA Torque limiter
CD62A Torque limiter
D29D0 Torque gearbox limiter

Lambda maps :

CEF8C lambda
CF1D0 lambda
CF658 lambda
CF89C lambda
CFAE0 lambda
D01AC lambda
D0634 lambda
D0878 Lambda

Boost maps :

E4198 Boost
E43DC Boost
E4864 Boost
E4A96 Boost via Patm
E4CB2 SVBL

Is there any map which should be also touched ? Gears limiters are set for 500 Nm, also CD458, CD4AA, CD54A, CD5E6 seems not to limit the car (one of them is LIMP mode). Any idea ?

I've also created mappack, with more maps than here, but just wonder if it's any map which does not allow for requested IQ (torque changed max 20% in 2250-4200 rpm range).

I didn't see you remap yet, but from Your comments : Why You didn't change duration, soi, rail pressure maps? There is also some other limiters. Did You logged car after remap for example with testo?
And maybe car felt better after 30km because automatic gearbox adaptated?

Taking a look in ori duration map gives me feeling, thet there is no need to change injector calibration (I'm not over this map in any point), especially according to fact, thet car has DPF and over 300 kkm of mileage. The most interesting thing is "there is also some other limiters", probably this with address is the answer ? I've done about 3 weeks ago 320d 150 EDC16C31 and it works perfectly, no duration touched, 182/934 on dyno with smooth curves.

I never seen any good stage1 tune for BMW without touching SOI/Duration/RP maps.
For easier to help You attach mod and mappack.

182hp from 2.0d is not big deal. It can go easy and safe for 200hp. 934nm? Are You serious or it was mistake?

Of course 182/394. I attach file with id+ori+mappack+mod. Pay attention that this is "partial read" done by kess. Thanks for any help.

I can sure you that you wont get big difference fronm this engine, in facelift (145)kw you can get much more power. I will take a look at your remap, but seems that you need much more maps to edit. I will take a look in the morning, regards

For sure after 300k km and dpf still on it's possible that turbo will not spool like it should. ..
If you don't take logs with actual iq it's all guessing! !

Looked at Your tune. There need to be touched much more maps. For example Nm2IQ is not touched also. At first I think that You need to make some logs with Testo on original software and put them here. Then You should start working with Nm2IQ, Duration, Rail Pressure maps. Then take some logs but with tuned soft. What power do You wanna achieve in the end?

CD2CC is Atm pressure correction, not by EGT.
I think that you need to modify C567C also.
And D0AB8?

VMAX´s belongs to axis from CD38A 7x5 map.

Your file correctly moded, I didnt changed your turbo maps, if you want you can tune them as you want. you missed a lot of maps. Btw... Tunning torque maps or other maps by %?... Test and report. pas pm :) Regards

Thanks a lot. I've done these lambda map, other lambdas slightly stronger, and one more limiter C567C, slight decalibration of Nm to IQ and car is riding very well.
