Just take the tick out of "Use Network" & flash it without..
It will take you longer but you won't get any errors...
Hope this helps

I have never seen that on mine.
You are not trying to flash the same image on both of the boxes are you,
Coz I was to believe that the 500 is a .img format whilst the 600 is a .nfi...

Have you tried using "Dreambox Control Center" as it shows you internet connection, & if it is getting lost it will show.
My 600, defaults the ip to the first available DHCP,
(192.168.1.100) when I flash it that way, so do think it is that.

Hi there i am a newbie but i have done this many times over the past 6 months, the easiest thing to do and QUICKEST is to open dreambox control centre and go to the telnet option, then write this in exactically shown below....
mount -o remount,rw /boot
rm -f /boot/*
reboot
once its complete, the box should restart......
then open an internet explorer window and type the box ip into the browser, it will bring up the page where u then click "update box software" and then it will upload the image in around 1 miniute.
please let me know if it works for you.
chris.
