I would be leery of changing eeprom data at all, probably do more harm than good

Find pinout for module, connect CAN hi and Low, power and ground. Then connect to your scan tool and manually select Jeep Renegade / 500 and scan SRS module and check for Deployment Record Full code. If that code is not there then there is NO crash

There must be 120 to 500 ohm resistance connecting CAN wires to read on table

The right thing then is to keep the original data and discover the physical problem. Then clear the DTCs?

So I'll pass the tips to the electrician. The car is in an electrical workshop in another city.

What is the problem he is having with the module? Did he say he was having an issue or just crash?

I can send you a PDF of the wiring diagram for this module if you need it. But normally with these modules you just replace blown airbags and seatbelts and light goes out. No need to even clear with scanner

The car crashed and the bags and seat belts were replaced, but the light was still on.

He probably missed something, possibly damaged impact sensor or improperly connected airbag or seatbelt, like missing CPC clip etc..
