discovery 3 instrument panel swap

hi i need to replace the instrument panel 2006 disco 3.the vin is different so wont start.does ids sdd change vin or is this an edit vin manually job

need new and code with sdd , or swap mcu and eeprom

thanks did it with sdd it took a while also swapped eep for milage
