Vw Golf 5 Dash Visteon to VDO?

I have bad dash Visteon 1K0920853G and try to mount VDO with same number 1K0920853G
Visteon and VDO does not have same immo type....

Is it possible to get this to work?

I have read secblock by smoke from both dash.
VDO dash has more immodata as mac1/mac2 and immonumber etc as dont is in Visteon....

I did try to write info from broken Visteon to used VDO (vin,CS,keys) but it dont work...

Ok, I have dash on bench here.
I have read a post from 2014 here on DK and it looks like I need mac1 and mac2 from ECU(?)

If i read mac from ecu and write to VDO dash, will it work?

Can you tell me how you did with smoke?

Looks like I need can-bus line to ecu Simos 7.1A and I have only K-line connection so its hard to do on bench.

I did immo of in Ecu and write korrekt keys to dash so I hope it work now.

Hi mate. I have a Golf 5 with bad Visteon dash.....i want to change for VDO. I have Smok.
How can I swap the vdo dash with smok? Thanks
