E46 EWS3 question please

Hello all,
I have a E46 with a missing EWS module.
-I have two keys, they match the VIN number.
-Engine ECU matches the VIN

Can someone please tell me if this is the correct procedure,
I have,
-bought 2nd hand EWS3
-read with xprog, changed vin number to this cars vin number
-opened with tango, and written two new PCF7935 for the dump from the 2nd hand EWS with VIN changed.


What else do i need to do to make car start?

Cheers! :)You need to sync ews with ecu.
You can do this by obd
On ews I do it with Delphi ds150..

and you need to change ISN in your used EWS...

you need ews editor for change isn in ews.
