CD400 from astra

Hi,
I have a CD400 from an astra, its locked.
I have the original car pass, and the old vin, so i can read eeprom IC601 and see the data, but im not entirely sure if its correctly displayed. I can see the Vin number, although the 1st letter is not displayed.
I am using CH341A software and a USB reader..
Can anyone verify what mode i should be reading the eeprom? and can anyone verify my bin file if i upload it somewhere?
I would really like to be able to make use of eeprom coding etc..

Hi guys, glad the read was ok, do you just edit the details in the ASCII section? or do you use a certain piece of software to do the editing?

Thank you very much, I couldnt see the very 1st digit W, when i looked in the file, i tried notepad++ and HxD hex editor.
Can you recommend anything i can use in future?

Hi, you can use ponyprog to edit.

Oh ok that is exactly what i see, missing the W at the beginning.. I didnt know if that was correct.. but brilliant.. I had ponyprog somewhere as well.

Hi guys,
Just to let you know i uploaded the bin back to the eeprom, all ok, and fitted the CD400 back into the car and it all came on and worked great :) no longer locked.. yay!
