How is eeprom connected to minipro? Are you using soic to dip socket? Pin 1 in proper position?

Programmed successfully. I'll try to solder it back and see if it works. But what's the reason of using different chip id? Shouldn't it work under manufacturer's code? Thank you by the way, owe you a pint!

not sure what you're asking?

All data I see on the dash is:

SMG HR0342003
78200 E120

F28D061556015

Edit:
I have downloaded random civic ori file, programmed and works fine except I can't change to miles and outside temp doesn't work. I think it was issue when I read chip with wrong id. Need ori file of same dash if anyone have one? Thanks!

Are you sure your soldered eeprom back properly?

Is milage displayed and counting? Could also be you knocked something loose, dirt, sweat a bunch other things. When it comes to electronics a sneeze at the wrong time can cause havoc! lol

I would double and triple check. I've only been in bizz a lil over a year and 9 out of 10 times I have had an issue its my error.

Solder iron tip size, approach, solder wire type & size, cleaning & prep etc.

I have gotten much better but just like anything else your always learning.

On another note my eyesight is horrible I had a burnt pad right in front of me a few weeks ago. lol

Appreciate your suggestions mate.

The problem is that I have read eeprom using wrong chip ID, so I no longer have original file from my car. I have found something close - shows mileage, fuel level, rpm, but I get other types of errors on the dash. I'll borrow another dash from scrapyard and get the dump of it as it looks no one here have one.

If anyone comes to similar position bit info:

If using MiniPro programmer, read with SEIKO S-93C76A (DFJ) @SOIC8

The mileage is stored within (Tachosoft not accurate in this case):
0000C0
0000C8
0000D0
0000D8

My mistake was that I looked for S93C76 and it came up as ISSI manufacturer, but it's SEIKO you are looking for.

Not sure if it can be read with clip (pomona or whatever you use) as I don't have one yet, will update when try it out.

Will upload my file too if thread won't be deleted.

Thanks everyone for help :peaceful:

If yours has the openeing on the side for connections then its the A version. if it has sealed up side then its most likely CS

Just looked at mine, there is sticker underneath saying Model TL866CS. Why it won't work with clips?
