Hi
In some cases raise speed limit, can be done with machine original diagnosis (mercedes industrial, etc).
But in most cases, you have to read original file (galletto, optican, byteshooter, eprom programmer, etc), and then look limiter on file with software like winols, ecm2001, etc..

220? for a signal converter box is indeed a little expensive...

But it is a free market out there..

@ z786 "so does winols tell you wer the limiter is?"

winols can tell you if you give winols the maplocations, or a damos file.. It is not so hard to find if you look close..

winols by itself is a lame programm...

Do you guys work in a porkpie factory or something?

certain cars cannot be de-limited with the speed converter 5/8 (whatever) reducer, you HAVE to use a special 'box' but can't remember what it is called, just ring them and ask (but not Dwane):star:

Hi,
No,
you need to have file ols, or file dam in order to find limiting.
Or even a lot of experience ....

Using ECM2001 can be very helpfull, take a full version of 5.2 and6.3 so you will have a lot of drivers for cars from 1990 until 2008 and raise speedlimiter is only one click solution on this soft.

No problem, just certain cars HAVE to have one of theses special boxes
and NO OFFENSE if your going around accusing people of working in porkpie factorys, at least have the decency to accuse them of being a 'team leader'*

* had some guy in one REAL thick and asked what his job was, he said
"team leader in a porkpie factory" wonder how thick the rest of the team are!

Yes,for diesel engines speedlimiter map will not appear but most cars golf gti, m3,amg s there always the speed map as i know.

Win ols is better, but for starting modifying files...ols is a bit hard for beginners!(my opinion)

Of the Galetto clone i m not really sure,if you speak about the original one yes,but for this money i thing the original MPPS will be the better solution.

Free Software updates for new brands or models, bugs etc...

ChipTunaWarehouse (http://chiptunawarehouse.com/ecutools/hardware-amtcartech-c-22_30.html)

A master for 1500 euro ... not so bad(MPPS cames from the creators of KWP200,so real known engineers....

Make your choice

Or maybee search for the MAGPro2 Serial Chiptuning Tool . (http://www.MAGPRO2.com) great stuff including breakout box for work on bench and adapters....

What about clone galletto??

The clones....

You can be one of the lucky ones and it will work for about 50% of cars listet in carlist edc15 no problem,edc16 fiat opel erc will work but vw just brackes connection.

No chance to update, there is no version 1260...this is just for selling with *update*

with no chance you get one you spend aroud 100-150 euro and it will do no car....have no guarantee...no support....

You can try it,but a bricked ecu isnt so great:secruity::listen:
