Dears,
I try to read Mercedes E200 CDI from year 2007 with obd. I try different tools but no ecu id (ecu not found)
I choose EDC16 C x (every edc16 for mercedes) but no ecu id.
Is there any way to read this ecu? Is it only possible with bdm?
Car have no immo for start engine.
There is electric on obd.
Thanks for any ideas.

E200 cdi 100kw/136hp is delphi but 220cdi 110kw are bosch edc16
You can read and write with kess v2 or galletto v54 i am not sure for read galletto but you can try,or bdm the best choice

galletto is better for MB than kess! kess wont write modified file, galletto do this with no problem and no stress! just remember to disconnect fan radiator before write!

Realy?
I try also dcm Delpy ecu 2.1 and 3.1 (correct me if a am wrong)
Ecu id is ok but no correct ecu id (~D.E...484.df...) something like this
I try with galletto V54, but i scare to write it, (what if freezer?)

so your ecu is delphy, you need to take ecu out from car and read via bdm... kess, genius dont wanna read it too via obd...
