About Flash with tool please help

Hi all,

When we flash a dashboard with VCP or Odis with sgo file, which componenent VCP or Odis flash ?
Eeprom ? Flash memory ?

Because, I flash my dashboard with VCP and fail a block 15.. My dashboard dont work now. I want to flash eeprom with a programmer but I don't know if eeprom is cleared or flash memory or another..

My car is A8 4.2 V8 BFM dash 4e0920900 T , SW 4e0910900 T

I swap FIS on my dashboard. I have got a dashboard with small FIS. I bought a large FIS. On VDO dashboard, FIS connectors are same. But, the software are different. I search a sw with large FIS gasoline. Another guy do it and work perfectly. He flash with a large FIS gasoline software with odis e. I do the same with VCP but I have a bad VCP tool because when I bought it I dont see that this VCP do't support my car. When Flash, at block 15, VCP give error and fail flash. I can' t communicate with my dashboard now. Then my question is : when flashing with sgo, which component is flashed ? Eeprom ? Flash memory ?

Ok thanks, I cant replace dash, there is CP on the new dash, I havent got Abrites and Audi seller in France dont want to virgine it.. Where can I have the flash file for flashing ?

And Wich BDM programmer do you advise me ?
Or can I swap Flash memory ? New and old cluster ?
My old cluster is A8 4.2 4e0 920 900 T and new S8 5.2 4e0 920 901 D.

Hello...I need 4E0910900T flash dump...
Dashboard is Hw: 4E0920900T Sw: 4E0910900T_400
I need 29LV160BE flash file.It is not possible to flashing with odis or vcp.After the programming has started cluster, random communication closed.
I need the flash .bin file.
