I am wondering if it is possible to enter service mode on VAG vdo nec+24c32/64 dashboard with obd using "working key" when immo off is done?
To be precise it is golf 5 2008 1.6 gasoline but i guess question is same for all Vag vdo nec+24c32/64
I am asking because i borrowed fly fvdi to friend from other town to change mileage on his car , and he got me back saying he could not enter service mode, i can't see reason since i never had problem entering service mode with my tool, especealy on VW , so i was wondering about this immo off thing?
tnx

ok that it is not a nec vdo for the year must be a micronas 24c32 ... no service mode for that you need to read immo data with key or to get all flash and eeprom via micronas reading...

No need Service mode if you have working key, Micronas or NEC
Working Key allow device to login into cluster

Yes of course i know that, but i don't think you understand my question - when immo off is done in ecu , will any key (without transponder at all for example) be counted as "working key" and allow login to cluster (service mode in nec case) ?

if no transponder , what you want to communicate with coil ?
blade ?
or shell
or your hand ?

no need to be sarcastic and talk with that tone.... you just don't understand my question... also when immo off is done you don't need anything to communicate with coil , but that is not question, it was about loging to cluster service mode...
