View Full Version : Porsche Boxster immo M534 eeprom swap problem

Hi, i have porche bosxter with ecu immo (M534), it only break fuses when i connect it on car. Because this ecu got wet.
Ok, i buy other (used) and test it. Immo no match. Ok.
I dissasemble two ecus thinking on read the 93LC66 of the original ecu and program then in new ecu.
The problem is the old ecu uses a 93LC56, and the new ecu uses a 93LC66. Double capacity!!

I read it with carprog, It is possible change something in the dump for get an good dump?????
How???
Can somwbody helpme??

THE new file has a diferent PIN and match number

wet file
pin: 71 F9 82

AND ECU ( Me 5.7 or Me 7.2)match number: B2 67 C0 1F 5A C0

How do you know in 93LC56??????

I'm working on similar problem, could you have just manually swapped chip for old ecu to new ecu and not worry about the dumps
