Vag-com 409.1 i think we got it from autosenz. works great wit all 409.1 and older vagcom versions. Never tryed newer software.

ELM interface. came with some universal obdII software...
All chips are sanded. no info on pcb. works with old vagcom, and most universal diagnose software. digimoto etc..

Is serial so needs serial to usb for most laptops.

This is the K+ CAN Commander I purchased off ebay. The PCB is pretty good, once the latest FTDI driver files are downloaded the V1.4 software works fine on Vista Premium Edition but virus scanners do say there is a Trojan in the VWTester.exe file.

Here are some pics inside and outside of my VCDS 704 worked for about 10 month without problems...after this perid it failed one time to connect to car,and after this time it never worked again.

I reprogrammed the ATMEL 93C46 with dumps from here and the ATMEGA 162.

When i test vcds i got message:

Port status ok
Interface found,not conected to car

When i connect on car: interface not found!

i think 1 of the SO8 is an chinesse invention to flash the atmega and eeprom everytime they block, problem is they still block and this way making it hard to upgrade ore downgrade the interface because this SO8 (i think it is a pic) is intervering.

Here comes some Pics of my Digi-Tech Tablestation that i m using only as regulatet Power supply(works just great for this).

I bought it on ebay as power supply.

But i know that Digi-Tech is or was a chiptuner and the tablestation has an COM-Port and an Female OBD-II Port on Top,also is an other port in front of the tablestation which i even dont know what it could be.

If someone had information or software for this tablestation i will be thankfull for informations.

I Think the job of this interface is not really bad.

I made some Dyno runs on a real Dyno (2 runs) and compared it to the Dyno Results made with my DynoScan:

The Result is just awesome...5 to 7 HP of difference only (4 runs)

If you purchased an original one,you can update it periodically...

Make Diagnostics,make dyno files or just 1/4 mile registration...

But i could not install it onto 2. Laptop,have it working with that nice trojan in tester.exe on one laptop,so i have to tun off my virus scanner...

Hi,

I have a big Problem with Galletto 1260.

I used it on my car:
Opel Astra G 1.4 16V (Z14XE, 2003)

It read the ECU, was everything fine, BUT
after write it and everything seemed ok, my car didn't work.
I tried to check the ECU, but my ECU has been EMPTY!!! No data on it.

I tried to write it again, but I have got the message:
Errore SK1

Please help me, what is the problem, how can I repair it?

Boti,

You've bricked your ECU due to improper measurements.
This happens to people who are just starting to obtain
knowledge how to correctly update the software from
their car-ecu. Or read it out.

Just like PC's (bios update) you have to follow some rules.

With cars, it's even more complicated on first sight. If you
run into this kind of problems (bricking a ecu).

First of all, we need details of the ecu. Can you post the
printed numbers/letters from the ecu, so we can see what's
possible to help you out ? Go and find that ecu, and try
to read all numbers off it, withouth actually take it out if possible. So do not disconnect the ecu's plugs before you disconnect the battery, and wait 1 minute !!! (important).

Internet says abouth the location of the ecu :

ECU is mounted on the engine, gearbox side towards the back. It will have 2 large connectors going into it.

Have fun finding it, and hopefully you succeed finding it.
If not, just use google to find sites that explain where to
look.

1. Please keep this tuto clear.
You wanna show your interface? Here is the right place.
You have some question? Wrong place

Start a tuto for your question....everybody can see proper that
You have some problem and can help you.

2. If ecu is empty,you cannot rewrite with galetto or other serial
Programming tools. I think you didnt chosse write all,but only
Write data...and tadaaa....empty ecu.

I will mean that you have to disassembly ecu,disolder memory
Chip(eprom/flash eprom) and write it with external paralel
Programmer because eprom is no more recognised by serial
Programmer because of empty chip.

Hi,

Well i can, if you could post or PM me a first read-out of your ecu, and post or PM me the file which you've tried to flash the ecu with.
There are a few possibilities that could lead to this. For instance a critical voltage-situation of your car-battery which caused a bad-flash. Or a faulty flash-interface (the galletto), or a file which is not correct.

If you've saved your read-outs and still have the flashfile that you've last used to 'update' your ecu, then they will tell the tale.

If you have difficulties posting the file over here, i can PM you my email adress. I also have found info abouth the ecu itselfe :

A clone-galletto-seller states in the list of cars :

OPEL DELCO 3 IBRIDA R/W Astra G 1.4 16V Multec 3 (ibrida should be italian for Hybrid)

Thus should be supported by the Galletto, but we need some proof of other people, that it actually works with our chinese cloned version of the galletto flash interface.

Hopefully your im*obiliser isn't also depending on the ecu's content. If it is, then a extra financial surprise could be in. I'll explain later.

I read on web that Vauxhall/Opel has a Key-Transponder-ECU defence system, which means, access to ECU is blocked.
I checked the OP-COM and I find a guide which explains how can you program, reprogram this system (ECU, Immo, Transponder key). What only you need is the security code from CarPass.

Does anybody have any information about OP-COM, how does it work, can it really solve my problem?

So DK...

Here come my vas clone head.

From outside it is 100% identic with the ori one(a friend of me has one).

The wireless pcb inside seems to be an original part from softingAG...but all the rest is soffingag.....so not real original....

But im having troubles with this head....have connection,to edic hardware and installed,edic software....all works led is blue on when connectdet.

But starting vas pc i receive message "diagnose module could not be startet"

i cannot make any diagnostics or something else with it....

Have to search the problems.

I can confirm lock after update.

They are blacklisted.

I done some updates,also hardwareupdate to labtool-48xp.

3no problem,my own no problem,but one last,has package like coke can,locked after update...never again unlocked:-(

M8...thats a good question

The soft doesnt matter of original box,just serial inside the board drivers are interestening to update soft.

Are you sure it s a clone or did you get it from someone told you it s a clone.

I youre not sure at100% let it.

The hard update is just good for changing from eprom and flash to microprzessors....i can now write also attiny,atmega....

But for most jobs as ecu and dash is also great without update...no?

Ohyeah...the usb port after update is also just awesome...but lot slower as ltp port.

Well Rsibiza, the guy sold me this 3 years ago, asked me not to male updates online.
The min need for me to do this, is to try to read Mcus Motorola. But really, the tool has very fine made finition.. well chinese can dot it :D !!

Thats it. They make it seem as real ori one...so i would not try to make updates...will be better sell this one and get on ori one....but i agree,well expansive.

I would suggest maybee ori beeprog...around 600?...so much cheaper as labtool...and can make mcu motorola as i know.

Pull off the 4 black caps underside your interface,remove screws and check...there must be a pcb inside showing up some BT signs or stamps.

This pcb is connected by connector and SOLDER,check this solder area,maybee is due to shitty solder quality.

I think you would need some renault clip in place of vas.

Vas is just for vag group diagnostics.

I use blue cable 409.1 usb from ebay. And works with ddt no problems. Mind I only tested it on renault dcu3r ecu. Will read and clear codes on ddt main screen but will only read ecu in ddt light, under ecu player.

Galetto clone can do only k-line,so galetto is not possible.
MPPS,normally can do it,but pictire is from byteshooter,so byteshooter can do for sure.

My viewpoint, Not so bad, the problem is that there are good quality copies, and simply craps, good for trash, so, you must be either lucky enough to get good tools, or pay enough to get the high quality clones, which are not available anywhere in China !
And for experience with those tools, you must PAY!!! and learn of course, there are very very useful threads in DK speaking about this, and rating chinese companies and sellers, so take a ride there before doing the first step...

THe other board with only 3 chips is a Eaton Md-200. Its missing one chip at the connector end. This tool made itself under a tyre of a truck :banghead: . Its made by autoxray. Maybe get a automotive auto xray 4000 to 6000 to compare and maybe make it for HD use.

This is the K+ CAN Commander I purchased off ebay. The PCB is pretty good, once the latest FTDI driver files are downloaded the V1.4 software works fine on Vista Premium Edition but virus scanners do say there is a Trojan in the VWTester.exe file.

912x programmer. it was like on the first picture - but always i have problem with connection to the computer and the time is come to cut the metal box. When i open the box i find the broken pcb corner where rs232 connector must be. also 'max232' was defective and i change it with 'max3232' it is the same - more expensive but work better from 'max232' - finally i put pcb in the plastic box and work's very well now :)

Well ... that's a Chinese interface which comes with enough credit for doing 9 cars, and a very limited list of final codes... but ... if there's possible what (Remapking) says in this (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f173/revo-chiptuning-tool-62218/index3.html) post it would be very very NICE for all of us! :idea:

Genuine Bosch PCMCIA card I. Part# 0 684 400 400 (ISO only). I run this with ESI-Tronic 2006-4 and Porsche PST-2 v19 on a Fujitsu stylistic 2300 touch screen pc.

Very interesting design. Both halves are three layer pcbs. It runs a ZC404932CFN processor which from what I can gather is a close relative of the 68HC11.

That one works, sort of. This is chinese workmanship. They care of their rice crops on the fields and when the field work has ended they make interfaces for us

it is 88890020 picture, it is original interface which was taken for repair... Repairing of such interface is a lose of time and money. Shot analyse show it is not water and shock protected at all, good for "table" work, but not for heavy duty work on "street" and "real life,full of different circumstanses and trubles",also we tryed ti understand why this type of comunication untit have problems with balanse test on D12A type engine :(((
