Hi friends

I'm having a problem with a peugeot 3008, 1.6 HDI, 9HR engine.
The vehicle works well without any problem. However, the danger light and message on the display are constantly on.
Through diagnostic it appears DPF problems and fault code DTC P1490.
I did a forced regeneration of the particulate filter and the filter soot was 0%.
After walking a few kilometers into town, the problem remains.
I decided to remove the particulate filter and have it cleaned in a specialist house.
With the diagbox I replaced the particle filter and the counter was 0.
After this, the car went about 30 kilometers and returned the same error.
In parameters I found that the filter obstruction rate was 2%. The tank additive was 80% and the remaining distance to replace the FAP was 87%.

What can I do to solve this situation?

Best regards

Without seeing any live data it's impossible to really help. P1490 is regen not completed properly. EGR valves can cause it but I'd be looking first at DPF temp sensors. Downstream sensors can go out of spec cause non completion if it has one.

Also worth checking glowplugs are working and differential pressure sensor hoses as these split which can contribute to incorrect DPF loading levels being reported
