can filter problem bmw f30. fem

hi.

i changed mileage of a 2013 bmw f30 with fem module.

i disconnect battery, remove dash, put a canfilter (v5) in dashboard and programmed eeprom. put dash back and battery connect.

then new mileage is okay, but it got many errors (for example error saying rooftop is not closed. but it is not even a convertible).
I think there errors are because fem lost data. dealer is going to fix it.

but what have I done wrong? and will dealer be able to fix it with canfilter inside?

hello this happened to me with x3 F25... but in my case i have not put canfilter.... dealer has program and code the dash and it worked again

ok. but info on the eeprom or other coding in dash?

I would check first to make sure the can wires in the right location...or take out filter and put back how it was and see.

Wires are correct. Mileage display Correct! Canfilter is fine.
I had this problem before. Dealer programmed car.
Want to know what caused the problem and how I can make sure it doesn't come again.

use a new eeprom with dump could you explain to me why this would work? (I checked eeprom, all data is same as backup which I made before)... I removed canfilter. mileage went back to original, but errors still active
