2007 range rover sports not saving kms after malleage change

hi all
ive recently done a mileage change on a 2007 range rover sports

went from 280 thou to 180 thou
got file thru tacho soft
then had 2 other files done by people on here

problem is every time I turn car off for a certain amount of time the kms rest back to 180 thou

so if customer drive car for 100 kms then turns car off for awhile
then restarts car, the kms in dash revert back to the orig 180000 that I changed them too

has anyone seen this problem

ive tried all those files and still the same

Try new eeprom

hi diagtech ive used 3 new 35080 chips
I use a new one every file I try

ive just had a chat with someone
they said I might have to link the immob or bcm to the cluster cause the dash is now changed
the bcm or immob ecu reads orig kms so that's y it keeps resetting after a certain time or kms

has anyone heard of this

hey guys sorry to keep asking silly questions
just spent afew hours reading thru older posts

do I need to do the all terrain module aswell
or do I just need to erase all codes
to stop dash working ok for afew hours then reverting back
