BMW EML key password explain

Could someone explain me, it's possible to reuse genuine bmw key? I've got EW3 file, and ews editor or xprog shows 12-digit transponder password, while FVDI or Tango needs 14-digit password?

Yes possible if known transponder password.
It's different with EWS password.

Why the hell you need this. When ship cost 1usd and whole new key upto 10.
