Hello everyone.
I am dealing with a VW Passat B8 which has been in front-end accident.
Entire front end has been replaced, including the Auto Dist. Reg (J428) module (second hand).
However, upon startup, "COMPONENT PROTECTION ACTIVE" in Cluster is being displayed.
I have heard that these modules somehow need to be "unlocked".
Any ideas how to do that and make the module active/working?
