Say if you could read your decoder correctly . Say one side was 2,2,2,2 and the other 4,4,4,4, would that make it 2,4,2,4,2,4,2,4 ?.
Also what do you do then with that number to get a key cutting code ????

No, the two last numbers are 8,7 then reverse and 6,5 reverse and 4,3 reverse and 2,1 and for each number you must associate the number 1 to 4 depending on the eight. When come a english people can better explein.

If you have opened the vehicle already.
You can post good pictures, of the decoder.
In locked tool position.
And someone will give you the key code.
This is explanation is included in the user manual when buying from BUL.

As far I can see everything is visible, to solve this.
Now you need to study the lock. And you will find the answer. :)

And in the future other locks.

I will advice you to buy lishi type of tools, and achieve real experience over time. And understand what you are doing. You can get literature of books and downloads.
And you will at the same time, newer manage to lock your expensive tool into a car. And not be able to remove it.
(Yes it can happen, if you don't follow the procedure exactly when working with it).

You can destroy at least 10-20 normal Lishi picks of one lock type, for the cost of one of these. And that would take some time to do.

But it is very easy to destroy one of the Turbo/Pro/CN copies decoders.
Need to send it back to manufacturer for repair etc.

Bought this things myself, and have regrets.

Thanks for your input much appreciated.
With regards to a lishi tool, which one would you recommended. I have seen a few different variations on line the T3 model seems good.
Can you get a lishi tool that works in both barrel of ignition and door lock ?
Thanks for the replies.

When it says ign/dr/bt on the lishi tool.
It works on ignition door and boot.

If you want to open and read all generations of hu66, you will need the 2-1 with the 2 seperate levers.(gen3)
Same goes for the sip22.

And you dont need the T3 line. And dont get the nightvision line.

Dont Agree.
with the one arm piece its mutch more easy to decode them ( picking with the 2 lever is more comfortable i say) and with the one armed you have the chance to open locks with broken springs too ( you can not only push but lift levers if necessary).
So overall one lever HU66 is more useful, 2 lever is just more comfortable.

Hello LPF01,

I think that you are confused about the Hu66 generations.

Decoding gen3 Hu66, with a single lever, is not possible.
New sip22 need a 2 lever, for the same reason, and cannot even be picked.
The reach, to the shims ceiling lacks.
Lifting them high enough, is not possible.

So double levers will always give the correct code, and open the latest versions.

For sure, single lever tools are easier to use, and the few % that have broken springs can be opened. (and those are likely the older generations cars)

GEN3 HU66 is easily picked and decoded via one lever lishi 2in1 i promise :) If you not agree just name the lock and i make a video for you :)

SIP22 is still pickable, except the ignition lock but there is another technic to deal with it.

With one lever tools reading is more easy but thats all, i still prefer 2 levers for opening locks ( easier to position, not need to correctly find the wafer chamber.

Hello Mr. LPF01,

There would not be any reason, for Mr.Lishi, to create a tool that needs more skill. If you are correct!

Sip22 lock, from a 500 facelift will do, so 2016 up.
Possible allready earlier fitted in the 500L and 500X.
I am not sure which shim numbers are out of reach.
So make sure that you test all 4 heights!
I am talking about doorlocks, not sidebar sip22 ignitions.

And VAG, 2014 up, like in T5,T6 Golf7.
All do gen3 came in late 2010, but some models where past over.

And a quote from MR.Pink,about Gen3 HU66 (cars,keys&locks)

The need for the new tool was a design alteration in the wafer in late 2010.
2 different Lishi 2in1 picks exist -
a single lifter version and a twin lifter version.
1) Single lifter tool: this is the best tool for generation 1 and 2 locks.
It will pick the gen 3 lock but on many will struggle to decode it.
2) Twin lifter tool: this tool was designed for gen 3 locks to ensure an accurate decode of the lock, it will also pick and decode all gen 1 and 2 locks

And a big thanks to Mr.Pink, for those great articles.

So go ahead, prove me wrong,

Greetings, Rob

Both turbodecoder pictures are identical. Sip22

Position :1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Heights :1 2 3 1 1 2 3 1
Cutcode:A B C A A B C A

Hell, really. I think im a little bit tied :D
But, as he said its from a door barrel, and newer cars did not have the first wafer inside.
for A even instacode did not give bitting, but gives B or D for first.

Isn: 6997 gives all 4 depths possible, on position 1.
Isn: 5147 gives depth b and d.

I figured, that he already tried turning the ignition, with the turbo.
For that, it is great.

But i prefer the lishi tools, for opening, and decoding.
