Hello,
I have got a Mercedes W168 class A 140 petrol without ECU.
So, I bought a complete Kit (engine ecu, immo box and key).
Engine ecu I have now is A1661500179.
However, engine donīt start. When I make diagnostic I have error P0602 - An incorrect transmission version is coded in engine control module.
Then I realize why car donīt start. Car I have is automatic gearbox and the car that I got the parts is manual gearbox.
I tried with Star and X431 to check if there was an option to change the type of gearbox, but no option available.
On engine ECU Star can check the coding of the ecu and modify it. If I had the original ecu I could copy paste the coding, but I donīt have.
Anyone can help me with a coding for an automatic gearbox ?
My actual values are:
Coding: 920954
VIN: 1680332J494289
