Recording one side whilst watching another

Can anyone watch a different channal than the one you are recording?
My eurovox will not do this, not sure if it's normal or not.

I don't think that you can do this. Just the channel it's tuned to.

You can watch other channels, but only those that share the same TP as the channel you are recording.

you will need a box with two tuners - there is one out there
