ecu and bluetooth

hi.for any reason i cant connect cars ecu with android via obd2 dongle.it pairs ok.but message says cant connect with ecu,tried allready five of.my car is astra mk4.1.7 tdi

The mk4 was introduced in 1998. The mk5 came in 2004.
Diesels do not have to comply to the EOBD (European version of OBD2) rules until 2004.
So your engine is too old and has no support for EOBD/OBD2 communication.
