Well setting up my DM800 but I think its arrived dead from DVBseller! Plugged it all in and put power lead in and nothing on the display at all no light on front of box. A blue picture comes up on TV with some arabic writing on it and the network lights are on at the back. The above picture then goes off and nothing no response from remote. Any ideas? Am i Being stupid or is it chuffed?

I have taken the power out and plugged it back in again. The palm tree stays up for about 10 secs and then screen goes black. Shouldn't the LCD or a light be on at the front though?

Will wait 24 hours and try again but the fact there is no light or anything on front lcd makes me think its dead.

well as your getting picture on screen for a bit, but the box isnt showing anything on front dispay then you diffo have a faulty box.

Contact dvbseller and tell them no display lighting on front of box and your sure its not the psu. They probls will ask you to return the box only and replace it for you...they are only clone supplier I know of which does stand over 12 months warranty.

Thought it must be a dud to be honest. I assume you are expected to cough up for postage with them even though its DOA? What postage method do you use? I assume EMS isn't available in the uk?

That error is same one I have, which I got by stupidly updating the image to the latest one (timebomb not removed) :( So it is not hardware problem, its all software and to be honest my fault:)

Now cant connect via dramup, wont go into flash mode by holding down the botton.

So order jtag connection other day, which should arrvie today to try and recover it. If works great, if not, returned to dvbseller for replacment :) Got to love dreamboxs, what other electrical equipment do you know which you can mess so much with the software of it and it doesnt invalidate the warranty on the hardware?:)

Are you sure that is the problem. I flashed your backup image and was coming up no ca error tried it multiple times so flashed bootloader 72 r1 and it then booted and worked fine. Switched on the next day and get this error. Have I done something wrong to cause same fault?
