Key programmer for beginners.

Which key programmer from cheaper do you recommend for starters? At the moment I have interfaces: Lexia, Opcom, Clip. I would like to start with only this group of cars. I was thinking about: Obdstar F108, FNR Key Prog FNR 4 in 1. Please, be lenient. :)

I learn all the time. But it is known to dig pits, you must have at least a teaspoon. He would like to start with cars: Citroen, Peugeot and Renault. I have Berlingo, and at work I drive Megane II.
I want to start with the simplest and cheaper devices.

And a upa prog, so you can read some bsi, and clusters.

Hi witux. Starting can seems to be a bit difficult and choosing tool can be a task.
Note:
1. No tool will do everything
2. 1st you need knowledge before tools else you will buy tools that you never use
3. Learn ,learn and learn Dk is a very good platform and look for people within your location who are willing to help.
4. Respect and appreciation is a key.

Every one who start ask all the same, not only you. I'll try to tell you shortes about PSA, Renault key

PSA: ID33, ID45, ID46
ID46 transponder 7936 or remote key (CE0523 CE0536 ASK FSK)

RENAULT:
IR, id33, 4d60, 46 hitag2, Hitag AES, Hitag 3 (some dacia 2013+)
7936 need precode, remote need precode with good RCF config

So if you want the tool, it need you just money, but to do the job, it need you the time and pain (learning, training...)

X100 PAD or PAD2. It works as advertised, so I assume it will also for French cars, one of which I come across maybe once a decade :D.

I was In your posistion not long ago.... Started my locksmith adventure..... It is not so simple at all. Takes much time and energy but in the end if you have determination (without it you wont go anywhere) you will succeed.
Most annoying thing in this business is neverending HW/SW investment.... One prog does this other prog does that. So my advice is to concentrate on one group of cars and specialize in it so if someone ask for help you will be 1 choice in your localization... When you know all tricks expand to other makes gradually :)

I understand you. I used to start with computer systems, computer networks, administration of Linux servers. I mastered the subject very well. I'm doing it to this day. It has already started to be boring for me, and I want to try a different field.
I spend a few hours a day learning. I'm not looking for a lot of money, but the basics to be able to do something to my grandfather, father, friends :)

All life i was linux programmer. Now im bored i will be locksmith. Damn its easy money for 1 minute i can take 50-100 euros. Damn its easy.

I will ask here and everybody will give a list how to take easy cash on low investment.
Youre like desease buy few cheap tools 50eur. And start business. You always say i only do for me and my granddad. This is false 100%. People like you ruin normal everyday locksmith businesses or who works with immo systems they invested huge money in their job. And like you start program keys for abnormal prices 5-20 eur.
You ruin all in your local and region. And later to whom you done jobs will pread this abnormal prices in all country. Because of 1 or 2 stupid "im bored" people imposible to earn money and return investments.
I see this every day on FB how this happens in automotive groups. If you bored go to vacation or extreme sports. But if you take this job do it full and for regular prices of your country. And to pretend that you dont understand what im talking about.

so you want to ask locksmiths to tell you what cheap equipment to buy and how to do your own keys , so that neither you nor your family have to pay the locksmith for his services in the future ?? can you see how this looks to the locksmiths you ask ? please help me save some money by stopping you earning some , would you give out the info ?

and this never stops at just doing keys for family , it then extends to friends and friends of friends and eventually anyone who knows you , then further to anyone that knows someone you did a key for and so on , thus taking food from the table of the very people you now ask to help you , we have seen this exact same scenario many times on the forum, so im sure you can understand why some are unlikely or unwilling to assist you .

depending on what car keys your family use will determine what level of kit you need and what variety of kit you will need , i suspect once the costs of the kit needed escalate into thousands of pounds you will no longer be interested in just saving a few family members some money as foolish as far cheaper to use a locksmith . but key cutting machines , cloners , programmers , dump readers and writers needed to do the range of cars you will need to do wont just be a few hundred euros , and if spending thousands you will want a return on your investments.

plenty of threads on here that you can read to answer your questions , but i cant help feeling sorry for the locksmiths in your area with big investments in legitimate kit and skills that you will no doubt seek to affect , intentionally or not.

If you want to help to your family then give them your credit card before they are goring to the car repair workshop or locksmith. It is the cheapest solution.

China for about 20USD incl shipping.
Software V508 or so comes included.
Or just google effi 172 modules.

Cheap, and pretty good.
