Hy Guys
i got a Problem i wanna change my old cluster to an new one (used) but i didnt have or found the immo code in the Cluster

Here some information about the Cluster

Here now 2 Bin files i have read with VAG Can Commander
Maybe anyone could help and see in this Files what the Immocode is

If your carprog is a clone then that will not be easy , use xprog

First of all, thank you all for helping me
I tried 2922 (when the cluster is removed)
This means that the power supply is connected and the instrument is addressed via the K line. It can be read out, including error memory and everything else that belongs to it, but it rejects the immocode vehemently
I have no more ideas.
the only thing that could be that the cluster needs the motor controller to address ( with w line)

Lock timers will be active when you try with wrong login. It will not accept any code (even correct one) as long lock timer isnt 0.0
You can check this value in measurement block 024 with VCDS

Success !!!! .... the whole problem was really the "waiting time" ... Channel 24 opened and maintained (about 25 minutes 6 plus 19) one saw how the cluster counted down the time and all stood on 0.0 he took the code

Would you know what is the correct way to connect Carprog to read the Micro MC912DG128ACPV- 3K910-QQNW0248 v7.95? I have to desolder it from the plate?
It also carries another Micro MC908AZ60ACFU-3K85K.


If it is not possible to do it with Carprog. Which tool do you recommend to buy X-Prog, Upa Usb, some Jtag tool?

Thats what i read first time with VAG k Can Commander ....


The whole problem was really ...... you have to look in channel 24 and if necessary wait until everything is at 0.0 ...... if the cluster remains one week (without power) it will be stay locked

If 3K91D its secured/locked mcu.For this need high quality programmer .

Experience.
original/clon both good X-prog programmer.
Or samething another high quality original device.
By another clon staff 99,9% after reading flash corrupted.

I talking only about 3K91D not about all mcu.
Im just have experince with this 3k91d(and not anly audi dash) to do job with low quality programmer where after rading flash........ finito....
After use good programmer no more this problem,thats all.

I use ETL.

You guys confusing 2 MCU which this dash has it.
MC12 has Immbolizer data.
HC08 has functions of cluster. When you do HC08 with mask 2J74Y Car prog in 99% of the situations will fix dash, but need to see what sw version has stamped on MCU then use that version.
Dash with Mask 3K91D , I never seen problem with this mask.
Hc12 with low quality tool can be damage , so I suggest if you do not have good tool, like AVDI, VVDI2 or etc , read it with good programmer with BDM.

Do not need any adapters , do not need to chnage HC08,
Everything you can do on Cluster board direct. Car-prog will fix existing HC08.
