Hi. My 406 1.8 petrol -96 has been under work for some time. ECU same as above. I removed 93c46 and tried just without it but didn't work. What kind of an inexpensive eeprom reader do You recommend to read the dump?

hi you need to desolder the eprom and the car will starts ok without removing immo box ( done more than 100 ecu for Peugeot bosch by this way )

Thanks for the reply Fady Eid!

So the eeprom removed and the keypad has to be connected? Ok - let's try once again before scrapping :)

Once tried to start eeprom 93c46 detached. Keypad was also disconnected that time. Didn't control fuel pump.

I'll give her a try on more with keypad connected and if won't start I'll scrap her. It will take some time to report thus the car is not nearby me. It would be a shame to scrap that car because I like her...
