Audi a4 change milage

I have change milage on my audi a4 1.8t petrol manuel and it work nice, , miles come up right, but after i press write, i reset on battery and test ignition, it is right with mialege i change but my speedo meter is on full 250km
and it say km def. (trip mialage) but my 264536 is right.
Maybe i have for low power on battery when i write to dashboard. What is wrong.?:giveup:

Did you save the original dump?
Or have you saved the dump before you changed milage with vag tach?

When yes rewrite it?

K+Can if its a clone one!!! may not write the complete data back and you will lose some controls or dash will fail...


The last way if nothing else works is to get a new working dump of another car same like yours(save it to pc with vag tacho...a friends car maybee) and write it down by vag tacho...:listen:

The calc you need only when rewriting desolderd eeprom,but i dont know if it works,because this way you rewrite only the eeprom but doing changing by Diagnostic you maybee changed more than just this eeprom...


Try it when it dosnt work....read a dump from a friends same car wit VAGTACHO not with K+CAN and after this rework the mileage:proud:

For Audi A4 (2001-2007) and A5 the best tool for odometer (and cheap) is MagicDashCAN. I have'it and working just f*cking great. Also support EDC16 and much more cars. K+CAN 1.4 chinese is s*it.
