Hi guys

I would like to try to read this ECU of mercedes sprinter 313 CDI
EDC15C6 with my Galletto 4 FG tech V54 but I can't even do the ECU data before reading.
My goal is to remove the start error message.
I'm sorry but I'm really starting with Galletto.
If you could help me it would be nice.
you will see attached the connection that I tried.

Thanks

Did you do what Galletto asks on last picture: power off 10 sec and on ?

And how exactly you will remoove the Start Error in the flash?

Yes but it still doesn't work.
Should i add the boot pin in the ecu.
Will i have to add another power supply for the ECU ?
The Galletto is powered by a 12 Volts 1A power supply.

I don't know yet but i heard that i should virginise the eprom of the ECU.

You will need to virginise the EEprom, not flash...
You will need to repair the dump from WSC...
So, you have nothing to do with Galletto. Open the ECU and took the eeprom out.
Open the WSC unit and read the eeprom from HC08, or HC05...
Use this program and be happy. (I prefer "autocode" version for the ECU eeprom...)
PS...
Note, that you can only virginise the ECU and synchronize it with DAS... but if the dump in the WSC is "broken"... the car will start about 30 times... and then will be Start Error again.

Thanks Bobolin4o !!!

I have two questions if it's not too much.

- I thought that we could read the dump on the ECU eeprom with Galletto.

- I would like to learn to read the Flash of the ECU with Galletto.

dont connect the 12 volt to the device direct
just connect it to the cable connector and read the flash

With Fgtech you need feed Fgtech 12Volt with adapter ALSO feed ECU with 12V.

With Ktag you don't need feed the ecu.

Thanks guys,

Should i feed the ECU with another adapter or just connect the ECU with the Galleto adapter (12V 1A) ?

I use 2X adapter from fgtech (12V adapter) or connect in parallel 2 wires and feed the ecu.

Is that correct ?
