Hello All,

my friend has flashed his Audi TT 2006 R32 with galletto via OBD.
It's ME7.1.1. After flashing, the ecu doesn't respond anymore. Then, he have read the ECU in boot mode, and the Flash is not touched (matches with the original via obd), and he got eeprom file.
The OBD tester doesn't communicate, the fans are starting, no check-engine lamp.
I think we have to repair eeprom.
I have tried to generate immo-off file but it didn't work.

May we ask you for help?

Can you connect with vcds or other diagnostic tool with the engine ecu?
If you can connect and have checksum error dtc , then you have corrupted your Eeprom, if you get no connection then you have flash corrupted.

384450Unplug the cable from ecu for 2 minute , reconnect them and then try to connect vcds via obd , if you can conect then your tool don't make checksum corection automatic, if so you have to do checksum correction by your self with win ols

Find EEPROM from other car, make immo-off. Then, if needed code it with VCDS.
Don't try to immo off or something else with your EEPROM. It corrupted.

Here try your file with cs .

Hello All, I will shortly describe the actions:
Mpps read obd -> ok (I will attach the file)
Galletto write obd (mod, chks done by winols) -> finished -> car doesn't start (no communication with ecu)
Galletto write obd original file -> failed at 70%
ECU out of car, read in boot mode
The flash readout is the same with the MPPS obd read

So we have not touched Flash, and probably corrupted eeprom.
The ECU is not detected by car equipment, cluster, VCDS.

So I think the eeprom locked during the OBD flashing and I need to repair the file.

@ollync
I have tested your file, and no effect. The engine lamp (check engine) is still dark.

Do you have the Flash+Eeprom for this car, I can't find together.

Here is flash for you ecu, found on dk, but it is the same like yours.
So maybe you have other problem there like damaged ecu when try to open? With eeprom corrupted you ecu should boot up and throw some error.

ECU has been flashed by OBD and then it is bricked.
Reading on the bench is showing the same readout.

Now we have put the different eeprom file found on the digital-kaos, the ECU is alive.
I have disabled immo and it runs fine.

Summary:
Flashing via OBD brickes ECU. Flash is not touched. Eeprom locks the ECU.

Can you post the eeprom you used to make you ecu live again?
Just to compare with my file

this is eeprom file (immo on and off)
after several test drive the fault code appeared 001537 - P0601 Memory check sum error - but this is another problem
maybe you have proposal for this

Try your ori file again.

Try your ori file again.

File not good, now i saw it's just 512 bytes.

I'm now sure that this is the problem only with eeprom.
After I have used the eeprom (with immo off), the car runs fine, but after several times it locks and engine doesn't turn. P0602 on the dash.
Then we put again the same eeprom (with immo off) and car is fine.

I definitely need a good eeprom file for this ECU

You have to take VAGCANPRO and flash with sgo. I made the same in golf 5 r32. after flashing sgo all fine. somwhere I have update file for this ecu. your problem isn't in eeprom but in processor.br

Hi Felioos thank you for your reply.
may I ask you where could I find the sgo file for this ECU
and is this possible to convert the sgo to standard extension in order to write mpc in Boot mode?

Car again stopped after 100+km. I think this is because of eeprom. It is immo off, from another numbers and another Vin.
Can someone repair eprom file from 1st post?

Here , another file to test.
If not working, upload again your file with that your car is working and the file you read after the car stopps after 100+km.

You still did not send your not working dump after 100 km+ .... . Tell us more, how do you read/write Eeprom?
Post some diagnostic/log on all ecus with Vcds, when the car is running and after , give us some more info.

Your eeprom file did not work. Ecu doesn't communicate. I have tested 3 files from forum and did immo off on them and all of them are locking ecu after 100+km. And eeprom data is changing. I am thinking about write protection of the eeprom. The lifting the 3rd leg does not work
