Hello.
I'm novice+ in the word of transponder and keys. For program key I must only login on ECU or also in Dashboard. I have extract the ECU EEPROM, the login that I extract from this EEPROM works to login on immo, but when I try to login to dashboard: fail to comunicate. How can program the keys for this car. Thks.

I don't have other tool. This car is 4t generation immo? The transponder key must be pre-coded? Thanks.

You have no working key? All keys where lost when you started, with this car?
You use standard ID48 or TP23 ?
According to the list. It needs TP23 from 2005. No writing of CS.

If you have the right pin. See if you can locate a friend with VCDS to help you out. Or you can buy one very cheap on Ebay sites.
You program key in dash, not ECU on this one.
No it is not 4th generation.

According to Rosstech (VCDS) there is no access via 25 on this one. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Polo_(9N)
Need to go via 17 and login.
Play with this online manual and see how the VCDS works. http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/main_screen.php It is easier to use on older VAG models. Keys and a hole lot of other stuff. Its top of the line.
On the Xpad2 menu.
Choose VW - Program keys - 17 Dashboard - And then see if you get the chance to login with your PIN.
Also I think you should be able to read security code on this one, via 17 Dashboard. Before you login.

I have a working key and also I have HU66T24(TP23) virgin transponder.
The pin that I have is from ECU EEPROM(95320) dump and login successful on 25 Immobilizer and I can Program the original key but not the virgin.
I have tried to login with the same pin to 17 dashboard, but not connect.
I try to read security code but appears error: not supported.
How can get the dashboard pin? How I know the instrument type and EEPROM without open it?

Do you have KC100 adapter to your XPad? You should read your, original key. And see what it says.
If no KC adapter. Are there any friends, who read the info with some equipment. CN900mini or similar could do it also.

I know that it South Africa. A 2012 Polo was not the same as an European 2012 Polo. Maybe your model is an older version of Polo.
Post a picture picture of the vehicle. Or web link to a similar car. Using google search pictures or something.

If it is an older model, you also would use 25 to login. But the ID in the chip is different.

:) Yes I know about the Euro models.
But this vehicle is in Cuba - Fidel Castro Island. Close to Florida in the USA.
Not sure if there is some kind of South America models.
Or something that we are not used with in Europe.

Yes I Have KC100. The original key when I put on KC100 says:
Chip ID: DDBC5EE5
page15: AAAA
page14: AAAA
page13: AAAA
page12: AAAA
page1: C715 Locked
page0: 9012

This polo I don't know its country. The VIN is: wvwzzz9nz7y177144 (I don=t know if this VIN identify the country)
Thanks a lot!

ooopppssss...
Look at the pictures.
25.immo - 08.Meas. blocks - Channel.001

Origin key 1-1-1-1 (all fields in 1)
New one key 0-1-0-1

All fields in Channel.003 were on 0. (no wait minutes)

What means this?
The key must be precoded with CS?

Thanks!

Pictures does not give much info.
VCDS would give you a better view.
Maybe you should order a genuine TP23 from a nearby source.
So you would know that the chip is OK.

No precode on this one.

I think it should be MagnetiMarelli from 2006. (9S12) Which should be the 25.
This is strange. You said you could not login via 17? Only 25. VDO picture should be K-Line here? But according to your chassis it should be MagnetiMarelli.
Can you please verify your working key with a proper reading tool which says either ID48 or ID48 TP23. Maybe someone on the Island, just read it quick for you. It takes 2 seconds.

Maybe someone have some more experience here.

This soldering on picture 5, this is something your team did. It was not like that earlier?

jeje...Picture 5 was token when I was extracting the IC 93c86. I will buy FVDI to read the transponder and also the vag-com 17.1 to use VCDS because right now with XPad2 with kc-100 nothing to do. Thanks...about feb/25 will arrive the products. See you soon. Or I make the key...or car does not work anymore...jeje. Thanks a lot.

Purchase "Solder Wick" and "Solder Flux".
And take a look at some Solder videos online.

It will sort out the bridge on the eeprom pins.

rolovalero
7th February, 2018, 06:23 AM
Of course I have Solder Wick but it is easier for me to remove the eeprom with the soldering iron because I do not have to heat the printed one. I bridge all the eeprom pins and it takes off very fast. then I clean it and it looks like new. That photo what happened was that in the process I realized that I did not have pin 1 marked on the board to see the position.

Bingo!
The key has been programmed.
I use an tp08 and I had to wait 10 minutes before...(this was very important, before 10 minutes always error)
Thanks! Until the new key!
