Hi all,

I have a problem with the protection for an edc17cp14 for Kia Carnival.

I would make a dpfoff on this car but after write this ecu the ecu does not start, have you a solution ?

I have a backup make it by Ktag or Galetto and by kess bdm mode.

The read and write by tools is ok but the ecu doesn't start.

This ecu doesn't have TPROT but certainly a RSA key.

Have you an idea about this problem ?

Thanks

you write the original file and check if the engine starts ..
after perform reading in boot mode

Hi,
apartment the calculator is blocked in Boot mode because it refuses all exchange in normal mode on the OBD bus, I only read and write in Boot mode.
If you make TP OFF the calculator work in normal mode ?
Thanks

Maybe you damaged ecu, either while opening or with iron while soldering boot.
