Hi folks,
I just try to read out a smart MC1199….

MC68H11KA4…
I desolder it from the board….

Try with programming adapter, but get DEVICE IS SILENT. TIMEOUT ERROR
Then I try with cable like on diagram shown…

GND > MA
B2 > TxD
B4 > MB
Vcc > VCC
B5 > /Reset
B3 > RxD
GND > GND

Also the window came DEVICE IS SILENT. TIMEOUT ERROR

Then I try without
GND > MA
Because it stay that it´s optional, but also…. DEVICE IS SILENT. TIMEOUT ERROR

It´s a xprog….
I take Freescale MC68HC11KA4… under type

has someone a idea?

but where I have to put in the rezonator/xtal?

Im just a rookie...

I saw the picture on xprog... no rezonator....

I connect it like on the photo shown....

does I have to connect also xtal on PIN57?

Hi, oscillator for PLCC 68 pin 56, 57 connect!

firends i have to connect PIN 56 EXTAL with PIN 57 XTAL and solder between them an oscillator...?

the oscillator...8.000 Mhz....?

Try these settings, but this is for a very old X prog!
