edc17cp14 vw passat b6 help

hi i have a vw b6 edc17cp14 59 plate, im with kess v2 via obd
i can read and id
this is the ecu type 03L906022QC 3732
my question is will my ecu tprot lock when writing via obd back

make good backup in boot mode with ktag or something similar than try trough obd .good luck

thankyou i dont have ktag only v2 5.0.17 master but i have made a copy with read and id

You can write over obd, i did this ecu with kess and fgtech over obd no problem.
