BMW7 999999km

hi

customer come to me whit one bmw7, someone try change km on it and now on dash is 999999km. when switch motor one second i see km 241xxx but after again 999999. Whit diag no error on dash and CAS is same without error ... i read eep 35080 and there is 322xxx km ...
any idea how to correct this error? its enough set correct km on dash?

Mate, before set km or anderstand what is problem in this car you most know what in cas and dash and if you have only FVDI ,so its mean dont do enything better.

Both tool like russian rulet.................lol

For work with cas need high bdm programmer and experience for this...

And for work you most know step by step what exatly need.
And if no good programmer,tool and experience dont just touch this.

Write file in new 35080, I had 100% same situation monht a go and I fixed problem with new eeprom, even if I could read old eeprom with good mileage, I could erase it, I could write it, but in the fact it was damaged..

And if look what tool he have ,I think no good idea touch kluster.

At this time, make cas only whit xorog, never make it obd ... In this car is the only problem, that i cant find and unmount cas ...

Be ware from OBD reading at BMW 7 CAS . You must have over 13v voltage and good tool for reading .

And one thing ... Dash was not tuched in this car ... I think someone xhange km obd in cas ans this cause error

Mate , you have FVDI .You can coding this .FVDI can to do this no problem .Try coding this (coding data need set by car complitation)

Ok i go try it ... A little problem is that on dash is now 322xxx km, i set 241xxx on dash before i mount ut back, but i think this is original km, customer will need change it :)

Mate, everytime you reset mileage on cas fitted cars, you will always need to reset mileage into cas to zero, because you set dash to desired, cas to zero, on first ignition cas will get the same value from the dash, so if you had 322xxx into dash, cas 0 cas is set to 322xxx...on the first ignition

What do you mean you can not access CAS on 7 series , CAs can be remove but you need to know how, And it takes some time to do that because all trim at fromt need to come out.
