View Full Version : Bypass Fiesta 98 Immo / Programm new key to immo?

powerpaule

Any hints?

Immopart in my only key I got is f*cked up, the dealer wants to sell me 3 new keys (1x red, 2 black) and re-programm to my car.. about 200$ for this crap, no one will ever steal a piece of crap like this car:puke:

Is there any chance to bypass or add another (new) transponder to the immo by myself?

I have NO red key!

thanks guys!

ok ,what about getting keys and ecu from another car (junk yard) and using the ecu + transponder from this car in my actual key?

I think this should work?

yes if you get the matching fondoo set from another furry jester that should work.
just stuff the replacement key in the transponder loop and stuff it behind the clocks.

another alternative is get another ecu and key second hand , is the transponder in yours dead ? a good auto locksmith can copy it even if its damaged.

that way only one key needed.

before you pannic to much

remove the cowling from around the barrel and check the plug on the pickup around the barrel, sometimes they use IDC ( i don't care) connections that work loose use an Xacto Knife to ram home the wires, damm american wording again.

I can?t really follow you... you mean the immo "reader" around the keyhole? I already changed this from a running car and back.. this is ok, connection cables fine, too.

My Ecu looks same like energjia posted!

yes "reader" around the keyhole, on some fords, mondog and transvesite they are a 'scotchlock' idea on the end of the wires, they work loose.
Not sure how your furry-jester is terminated.

If you leave the ignition on for a minete or 60 seconds the led will flash a faultcode, this can possabilty help identify your faullt

Have a word with ecutesting.com about de-immbolsing your unit, or even see if you can chat up another member and post your ecu to them and see what damage they can cause.

I have a 1800 diesel fiesta '96... it can works for my pseudo-engine? ( 45 hp :( )

Hi
This solution was downloaded from mobile-files and it works only for EEC-IV ecus.
Fiesta, Mondeo and Escort diesel engines can be done quiet easy but brutally. First of all there are two things that immo is blockig:
1- starter - engine does not turn
2- shut off valve on diesel fuel pump does not open.

With starter it is easy to do, just need to bridge the starter relay. With shut off valve it is a litle bit harder, first of all you need to destroy the casing of shut off valve. After that you need to know with what kind of voltage it is controlled:
1. If it is 12V it is very easy - just find somewhere 12V after ignition and put to the shut off valve,
2. If it is 5 V you need to destroy the head of the valve and then put 12V after ignition to it - or buy original 12V shut off valve and replace it.

If it is 5 V

That a scary thought, 5 volts, is that a known fact?

Thanks for the info btw

Hi
Photo nr 1 is mondeo 5V (valve covered by shield) and photo nr 2 the same valve after demolition. I also did fiesta 1.8 diesel but it was controlled by 12V.
That is really hardcore :)

Silghtly off topic!

Oh it's one of them, you managed to get it to work, i did one of them a while ago, but i was at least rough enough to catch one of the injector pipes with an angle grinder!

Thanks for the image.

ok for first sorry for my non-perfect writing

I have solved in this way:

Find 2 relays in the auxiliary fuse box ( engine bay )

relay number X ( 10 ) Starter ( yellow big )

and number II ( 2 ) engine management ( little brown )

I have put 2 wires from ignition switch to the fuse box in the motor to power directly with the battery + the two relays

Black on the ignition switch to + ( pin number one ) of the relay number II

Black/blue on the ignition switch to + ( pin number one ) to the relay number X

now I am ready to go on in the Ford mechanic to re-programming my eec-v

There is another way: make a fixed bridge to the contacts on the base of the relay number II ( contacts 5 & 3 )

and bridge temporary the ignition relay number x ( base contacts 5 & 3 ) for start engine..

you need always the keys on the II position to start..:sheep:

I hope this can be useful, i think only for diesel engines.. but..
