Corrected MLS in BCM via eeprom mod, IC and BCM showing ok(24c16 camaro algo and location numbers in reverse) , but when scanned with AVDI also found old MLS in ECU. Tried to generating DTC by unplugging throttle body and running the car them clearing DTC's still the same. Anyone had experience ?

when you say ecu, you mean ECM? (engine control module)
do you have access to OEM software? (GDS2)
I have seen old value stay in ecm once in a similar vehicle. the value was: distance since engine oil low level warning.
but of course, at least a screen shot of what you see with AVDI would have been great.

Here it is. Definitely total number of mls.

No GDS2, new up to date tools only snap on edge / avdi.

this is engine control module, right?
and do you have access to GDS2?
also, can you try to read ECM memory with programmer? (if you have proper tool to do so)

No GDS2, i will have to open it and see A friend said his SMELECOM does over obd2 so not sure whats inside eep/mcu

smelecom does BCM via OBD, yes... but you already done this. it won't magically do the ecm. (IF WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE ECM, YOU NEVER CONFIRMED THIS)
if you can read ecm's eeprom memory, post it here. we'll take a look.

Yes ECM, correct i have to open it. Have you done GM ECM before, what can i expect ? x-prog/upa/r260 are avaiable to me.

not yet, but I doubt you'll be able with those tools you mentioned.
what is the engine in it? 2.4 or 3.6?

use gds2 . it should clear last fault stor km. and recheck in data list , disconnect a sensor drive few km and reset again.

I tried couple things, disconnect throttle body, cause a DTC, MAF and cause a DTC, cleared those no change. I will give it a 10-20mile drive as recommended. Thanks.
