View Full Version : CAS4 5m48h Xprog 5.5.1 or 5.7.0

Hi mates..I am trying to do cas4 from F10 2012 and I cant reset security in any way..backup d-flash ok but reset security dont,bite stay on xFE..I am also wondering what is your expiriance with xprog and cas4..wich firmware and wireing is best for yob 5.51 5m48h v1-backup or 5.70 becouse with me every second or third cas4 is eeprom erased while backup with 5.70 and 5m48h v2..I no xprog is not best tool for xep100 but right now dont have other option ...thanks advanced

what do you mean tick box is not ticked?seting option disable verify?I also go to BACKUP option..and iven on backup eeprom fu***d

Yes , always DISABLE option "read and verify" when reading 9s12 secured, power xprog with good power supply of 15v, check all solderings and be sure that wires are not too long (from xprog to board) - that are precautions i do when reading 9s12 secured and had never damadged mcu, i use 5.5.5 version no dongle .

I also never had any problem related to wireing,soldering...etc with any other 9s12 secured..except this one is realy tricky..5m48h after 2010 (fully locked)...so I am try figure it out which firmware of xprog and bdm adapter rev B or C..is best for the yob and at least 80% safe reading

no need to remove components if done by xprog manuals

VVDIprog is much more safer for that MCU, yesterday I did F11 CAS4 2013 without any problem
