DM500C Problems

help please need to flash dm500c with dk1.1 or neutrino 2.2 cable uk virgin live feed .will it work my m8s got one with neutrino 2.2 and gets all channels :heeeelllllooooo:

Yes but make sure you have the right drivers for the serial / usb or it wont work.

It will flash the image ok but unless you are flashing a "working " image to your box you then need to ftp the keys and roms to get it up and running with all channels. Another thing you may wish to consider is that an enigma image (ie. dk) you need to add the box office and adult channels manually as the box will not pick them up on scan. easy to do and good thread on this in the dreambox section. the neutrino image will pick them up automatically.

if you cant ftp and want to get the box up quickly get him to send you a backup of his image and flash that to your box and you will be good to go.

have a neutrino image running on me box but trust me iwas messing around with the skins and now everytime i press a button on the remote it gives out the most damn annoying bloop .bloop.bloop noise can anyone help before my wife kills me

running nuetrino on my box but i was changing the skin then i came out of menu and every time i press a key on the remote it beeps constantly my wife is demented going through the channels beep beep beep beep you can imagine , i've tried in vain to find the source to switch it off alas to no avail any ideas ???? thanks.:stickyman:

ok ive bought myself & a lot of m8s some dm500c boxes ,the one im using has neutrino 2.2 da vodka xmas on it this is great it picks up all the channels ,now the dilema im faced with is this ,what to flash onto the other boxes ,dk1.1 or neutrino 2.3 can anyone shed some light on this subject (virgin live feed)
oh and by the way if anyone looking for null modem cable goto misco.co.uk look for LINDY usb to serial converter lite 9 way rs232 hope this helps
