Un marked surfacemount components

Hi ,I managed to blow a few components of a bmw ecu ,some of them dont have markings ,are they caps or something else? They are black and look like the ressistors next to them but without markings .Waiting for a camera to take some decent photos,thanks ,regards

These components are associated with the circuit that drives the vanos motor ,could they have been inductors?
