I have today A friend with polo.
Is this he right procedure to do this with kess?

1- read file And id with obd
2- open ecu add resistors And read eeprom with tricore.
3- unlock only one time
4- put back ecu in car And write by obd?

ThnxIf you have Ktag no need for resistor!

After opening , conect ecu to car and start the motor, when not opened with care can damage electronic components, and in this whay you will know if your hardware is ok after opening , if something goes bad by flashing , you can not now exactly where is problem , hard oder soft!

If you have Ktag no need for resistor!

Also with ktag cloneThat I don't know, for this ecu I use CMD Flashtec , it does all over OBD, no need for opening, I have done with Ktag ori and no problem, if you don't trust your clone then better with resistor!

i have same car...i have clone ktag..so no need to open ecu right?
i will connect it directly to obd and read...then write? is it ok? thanks..

i will connect it directly to obd and read...then write? is it ok? thanks..No is not ok , with clone you have to open ecu, unlock on bench then after unlock you can read/white over obd port! Falow instruction show on your ktag and all ok !
If ecu already unlocked then you can direct obd , ktag dont work obd !
