Smelecom adapters vs digimaster 3

Can ne body tell me if the digimaster 3 adapters can be used on data smart some occasions they are easier to use than the smelecom just checking i dont want to damage either machine by using them hoping somebody has the answer thank u in advance

my enigma and dp4 cables are also have same connector but i nevver thinked abaut to switch them
