Sorry mate ...The VIN number it no good on it's own ...you need to reed the eeprom ... If you look at the File I posted you can see the code ..in the ASC11...

Well.... An eeprom reader would be your best bet mate ....
Capable of reading in this case a 24c16 eeprom....
